No. Dupefold scans and processes everything directly on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded to a server, and Dupefold has no account or cloud component that could store them.
Is the “GB reclaimable” number accurate?
Yes. Dupefold calculates the real byte size of the photos you select for deletion. If iCloud Optimize Storage is on, some originals live in iCloud, and we tell you when the estimate covers local plus available iCloud originals — no inflated marketing numbers.
What if I delete a photo by mistake?
Deleting in Dupefold moves photos to your iOS Recently Deleted album, where they stay recoverable for 30 days before they’re permanently removed.
