WindFlow Terms of Use
WindFlow is a D3Q19 lattice-Boltzmann screening estimate on a coarse Cartesian grid. It is not a laboratory wind-tunnel test, not a professional engineering service, and not a certificate that a shape is safe or efficient.
Who may use WindFlow
Students, teachers, makers, and families may use WindFlow to watch air and compare shapes. Use it as a demo and a discussion. Do not use a result as a graded measurement, a catalog number, or a reason to fly, drive, or occupy something.
Forbidden uses
- Airworthiness, type, or flight-performance data for any aviation authority (including FAA, EASA, UK CAA, Transport Canada). Not for Part 107 / UAS, RC, FPV, model aircraft, or full-scale aircraft.
- Automotive certification, public-road aero, racing safety, helmet or fairing impact.
- Architectural wind loads, cladding, or occupied structures.
- Weapons.
- Children’s products, firearms, climbing, medical devices, or anything that could injure someone if the real air disagrees.
Do not fly, race, or skip a real test because of a WindFlow result.
What the numbers mean
Cd/Cl/Cs are labeled SCREENING ESTIMATE, with Reynolds number, reference area, grid, and solver name. Prefer two significant figures. Do not map toy-Re coefficients onto published full-size sedan or aircraft envelopes.
Your files
You warrant you have rights to imported meshes (no scanned production cars as a service). Kick-Start.ai does not receive the file. Gallery models are original or CC0 toys — not brand-name vehicles.
Family play
Family play is intended. This is not a childcare product and does not certify toys.
Purchases
Paid features use Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store terms. Gallery play remains free. One imported-part run is included. Unlimited imported-part runs are WindFlow Pro: $4.99 per month or $34.99 per year, charged to your Apple ID.
The subscription renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple ID account settings.
